Kenilworth's log cabinThe log cabin that sits on the grounds of the Kenilworth Club was built in 1882 as a playhouse for the children of Joseph Sears, the founder of Kenilworth.
In 1892 Sears moved the log cabin from his old home on Prairie Avenue in Chicago to his new one in Kenilworth.
In 1945 Alden Sears moved the log cabin to his home in Northbrook. The playhouse was donated to the Kenilworth Historical Society and returned to Kenilworth in 1968.
